Please disclose the detailed nature of your problems when you submit your support request.

You can ask that we perform diagnostics. For RAM, we can run Memtest86 for you; for disk, the OEM’s disk checking utility. We can also perform a chassis swap, putting your disks into a new, equivalent chassis to minimize downtime.

The following operating systems can be installed, paid for with the setup fee:

• CentOS: 3.x or 4.x
• FreeBSD: 4.x or 5.x
• Debian: stable, testing, or unstable

For an additional $25 on top of the setup fee, we can also install:

• Gentoo: any version
• Slackware: any version
• Any other free operating system for which you can provide downloadable ISOs

Or for an additional $50 on top of the setup fee, we can provide you with a VNC-accessible KVM (powered by Adderlink KVM-over-IP devices) so that you can install your own OS to your own standards and specifications. This requires that you provide downloadable ISOs as well.

The following operating systems that require a license are also available, with a monthly fee of $30 USD:

• Microsoft Windows Server: 2003 Standard

The System Reload fee is currently $60. This will reinstall your operating system (along with any other specifications you may have, such as disk layout, RAID, etc) to the state you’d have received it when you ordered your machine. You are responsible for any lost data.

Yes. You need to specify this when you place your order (no extra charge), and cannot be done after we’ve received payment or you’ve received your server, lest you want to pay the System Reload fee.
